Hello everyone,
Just to clear up some confusion. There are 150 slots available to our council for NOAC 2015, it is first come first serve, so the first 150 from either of our lodges to sign up get to go.
To sign up:
1. Go to one of our scout offices, Cape, Herrin, or St. Louis.
2. Pay your $100 deposit to guarantee your slot
3. Be happy that you get to go to NOAC 2015!
DO NOT try and register online on the national site, that is for the contingent itself (our council), the online registration for scouts and leaders going to NOAC will be much closer to NOAC time next year.

Registration, hurry!
Want to go to NOAC? Our council is limited to 150 participants, in a previous message it said that our lodge would be limited to 75 for Anpetu-We and 75 for Shawnee. After just speaking with the Cape scout office, they said that it is first come first serve for all 150 participants, throughout the council. We are not limited to the 75 for our lodge, let's see if we can fill all 150 slots from Anpetu-We! We are currently at 70.

Want to help spread the word about NOAC 2015? Great! Chance made a sweet poster that you can email, snailmail, or simply pass out to people you know that may be interested, great examples would be Camporees, Chapter Meetings, Troop Meetings, Round Tables, etc.

Open Committee Positions

NOAC is just a short year away and we need to keep preparing. There are a few committee positions that are still open and we need people to fill them, it is vital that we fill these positions. TO ALL FELLOW BROTHERS:
NOAC IS FAST
RAPIDLY APPROACHING. IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TIME IS A LONG WAY OFF, BUT IT WILL BE
HERE BEFORE WE KNOW IT.
THERE IS ALOT TO
DO TO GET READY FOR THIS TRIP. EVERYONE WHO IS GOING ON THIS TRIP WILL BE
EXPECTED TO HELP EITHER WITH SOME OF THE COMMITTEES OR AT FOUNDERS DAY EVENTS.
SOME OF THE COMMITTEES WHICH WILL NEED HELP ON IS: PATCH COMMITTEE,
TRANSPORTATION, COMMUNICATIONS, HATS & SHIRTS, FOUNDERS DAY, ROOM
ASSIGNMENTS, MEDICAL, TRADING POST, PIZZA PARTY, AMENITIES, FINANCE, LODGING
AND FUNDRAISERS. WE WILL NEED CHAIRMEN AND ADVISORS FOR EACH COMMITTEE. SOME
PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY SIGNED UP ON SOME COMMITTEES SO IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT
GOING, SIGN UP ON THE COMMITTEE YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP WITH AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE,
IN THE PAST,
PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME THEY WOULD LIKE TO GO, BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE MONEY. FOR
THIS REASON, A PAYMENT PLAN WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO USE
IT. THIS IS NOT TO SAY EVERYONE HAS TO MAKE PAYMENTS, IT IS AVAILABLE IF YOU
WANT IT. THE COST OF THE TRIP WILL BE ABOUT $600.00 PER PERSON, BUT THE FINANCE
COMMITTEE WILL WORK ON ALL DETAILS TO GET THE EXACT AMOUNT.
